Boys Track Wins League Championship

Congratulations to Boys Varsity and JV track for winning the 2018 Olympic League Championship.  Varsity wins their 5th consecutive league championship and 17th overall. Softball Defeats Whittier Christian

Varsity Softball trailed 7-5 but scores 3 runs in the bottom of the 6th and defeats Whittier Christian 8-7. Katie Morewood goes 3-3 with 5 RBIs and Angelina Pool goes 3-3 with 2 runs scored. Caitlyn Azevedo picks up the win.

Boys Volleyball Wins League Championship

Boys Varsity and JV Volleyball both win league championships.  Varsity claimed their 3rd consecutive championship and enters the CIF Division 2 playoffs as the #1 representative from the Olympic League.  VC will host a first round game on Tuesday, 5/8 at 7pm.

Varsity Baseball Picks Up 2 Wins

Varsity Baseball defeated Whittier Christian 7-6 on Saturday 4/28 and Pioneer 10-6 yesterday.  Daniel Nichols with the win vs WC and Ryan Bloom gets the win vs Pioneer.  Brett Garcia goes 2-3 with a triple and homerun and 3 RBIs vs Pioneer.

JV Baseball Defeats Whittier Christian

JV Baseball improves to 4-3 in league with an 8-4 victory over Whittier Christian on Saturday 4/28.  Bryce Beck picks up the win for VC.  JV will host Maranatha today at 4pm.

Kathryn Tamminga Breaks 34 Year Old School Record

Congratulations sophomore Kathryn Tamminga for breaking a 34 year old school record in the 300 Hurdles with a time of 48.96.  The previous record was set by Linda Escarzaga (48.99) in 1984.

Boys Varsity Volleyball Claims League Championship

Boys Varsity Volleyball defeats Maranatha 25-17, 25-10, 25-13 and claims at least a share of the league championship.  VC can win the league championship outright with a win on Tuesday vs Heritage Christian.  VC was led by Camden Winter with 13 kills, Jacob Looney with 8 kills and Lucas Arcala with 22 assists.
