Track Claims CIF Runner Up

The guys team is Division 4 CIF Runner Up for the second year in a row, scoring 68 points, behind Oaks Christian with 81. Gavin will continue competing in discus at the Masters Meet on Saturday at El Camino College. Three school records were broken this season, Gavin threw 180-08 at the Mt SAC Relays to break

Gavin Fua Wins 3rd CIF Individual Championship

Congratulations Gavin Fua who becomes the second VC athlete to win 3 CIF Individual Championships (2017 Discus, 2018 Shot Put and 2018 Discus). Sabrina Williams won the 200m in 1979, the 200m in 1981 and the Long Jump in 1981.

Josh Rupprecht Breaks Own School Record

Congratulations to Josh Rupprecht who placed 3rd in the 1600m with a PR of 4:21 and 4th in the 3200m with a PR of 9:39 breaking his own school record in both events at the CIF Finals.

Boys Tennis Advances

Boys Tennis defeats San Gabriel 12-6 and advances to the first round of CIF Div 5 Playoffs vs Bishop Montgomery on Wednesday, May 9 at 3pm. Peter Weaver and Matt Weaver/Justin Sandoz sweep their matches to lead VC to victory.

Varsity Song Takes First Place

Congrats Varsity Song (Camryn Espinosa, Hannah Knopp, Allison Maynard, Jessica Maynard, Faith Padilla, Kathryn Senecal, Kaylin Townsend) for taking 1st place in each of the 3 categories (Pom, Jazz, and Hip Hop) at the Sharp International this past Saturday at Knott’s Berry Farm.

Girls Track Wins League Championship

Softball Defeats Whittier Christian

Varsity Softball trailed 7-5 but scores 3 runs in the bottom of the 6th and defeats Whittier Christian 8-7. Katie Morewood goes 3-3 with 5 RBIs and Angelina Pool goes 3-3 with 2 runs scored. Caitlyn Azevedo picks up the win.

Boys Volleyball Wins League Championship

Boys Varsity and JV Volleyball both win league championships.  Varsity claimed their 3rd consecutive championship and enters the CIF Division 2 playoffs as the #1 representative from the Olympic League.  VC will host a first round game on Tuesday, 5/8 at 7pm.
