Track and Field Sweeps Maranatha

Girls Varsity defeats Maranatha 85-22.  Multiple first place finishers include Kennedy Wesley (Long Jump/200m), Marian Ledesma (800m/1600m), Kathryn Tamminga (110HH, 400m), and Madison Silva (Shot Put/Discus.  Girls Junior Varsity wins 66-17. Boys Varsity defeats Maranatha 99-28.  Multiple first place finishers include Bailey Torres (110HH, 300H), Josh Akrofi (100m/200m), Josh Rupprecht (800m/1600m) and Gavin Fua (shot put/discus). 

Ledesma and Polk Qualifies for Masters Meet

Marian Ledesma and Michael Polk will be competing Friday, May 26 in the CIF Masters Meet at Arcadia High School.  Marian qualified in the 800m with a 2nd place finish in Division 4 and10th place finish overall.  Michael qualified in the high jump with a 2nd place finish in Division 4 and 5th place finish

Fua and Polk Wins CIF Div 4 Championships

Boys Track Claims 1st Ever CIF Runner Up Championship

Congratulations to the team of Josh Akrofi, Bailey Torres, Nathaniel Tamminga, Michael Polk, Gavin Fua and Jake Leue for bringing home the 1st ever Runner Up Championship for boys track in Division 4. Girls 4×400 Breaks Own Record

Marian Ledesma, Cheyenne McKinnie, Keely Long and Kathryn Tamminga breaks their own record set last week at CIF Prelims (4:06.99) with a time of 4:06.15.  The team finished 7th overall in the CIF Division 4 Finals.  Congrats girls!

Josh Akrofi Breaks 52 Year Old Record

Josh Akrofi runs 22.14 in the 200m and finishes 5th in the CIF Division 4 Finals.  Akrofi breaks a 52 year old school record previously held by Len VanHofwegen (22.20) in 1965.  Congratulations Josh!

Marian Ledesma Breaks 36 Year Old Record

Marian Ledesma finishes in 1st place overall and breaks a 36 year old school record in the 800m at the CIF Prelims with a time of 2:14.95.  The previous record was held by Clara Piersma with a time of 2:16.00 in 1981.

Girls 4×400 Breaks School Record Again!

The girls 4×400 relay team of Marian Ledesma, Kathryn Tamminga, Keely Long and Cheyenne McKinnie breaks the school record with a time of 4:06.99.  The previous record of 4:08.25 was set 10 days ago.
