Boys Volleyball Wins League Championship

Boys Varsity and JV Volleyball both win league championships.  Varsity claimed their 3rd consecutive championship and enters the CIF Division 2 playoffs as the #1 representative from the Olympic League.  VC will host a first round game on Tuesday, 5/8 at 7pm.

Boys Varsity Volleyball Claims League Championship

Boys Varsity Volleyball defeats Maranatha 25-17, 25-10, 25-13 and claims at least a share of the league championship.  VC can win the league championship outright with a win on Tuesday vs Heritage Christian.  VC was led by Camden Winter with 13 kills, Jacob Looney with 8 kills and Lucas Arcala with 22 assists.

Boys Varsity Volleyball Defeats Village Christian

Boys Varsity Volleyball stays perfect in league at 5-0 with 3-1 (25-15, 24-26, 25-16, 25-20) victory over Village Christian. Camden Winter with 21 kills, 6 blocks, and 11 digs while Lucas Arcala dished out 36 assists. Jacob Looney added 10 kills/19 digs, Kurtis Vander Meulen 25 digs, Curtis Walhof with 5 blocks and Luke Jones

Boys Volleyball Stays Atop League Standings

Boys Volleyball defeated host Heritage Christian last week 3-2 (20-25, 25-19, 21-25, 27-25, 18-16) and finishes the first round of league undefeated at 4-0.  Lucas Arcala dished out 48 assists, Camden Winter collected 37 kills and Kurtis Vander Meulen with 27 digs. JV Volleyball defeated Heritage Christian 2-1 and remains undefeated in league at 3-0.  VC

Boys Varsity Volleyball Defeats Whittier Christian

Boys Varsity Volleyball improves to 2-0 in league with a 25-17, 25-21, 32-30 road win vs Whittier Christian. Camden Winter records 30 kills and Lucas Arcala with 40 assists. Kurtis VanderMeulen had 20 digs while Jacob Looney and Landon Tobias each with 5 kills.

Boys Varsity Volleyball Defeats Village Christian

Boys Varsity Volleyball opens Olympic League play on the road and defeats Village Christian 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-16).  Setter Lucas Arcala dishes out 28 assists and Opposite Camden Winter records 23 kills.  Jacob Looney adds 9 kills and Landon Tobias with 4 kills.  VC will next travel to Whittier Christian on Thursday 3/28 at 5pm.

Boys Varsity Volleyball Picks Up 2 Wins

Boys Varsity Volleyball defeated Mayfair 2-1 ( 25-11, 21-25, 15-7) and Whittier Christian 2-0 (25-20, 25-16) on Saturday to wrap up the Valley Christian Tournament.  Camden Winter totaled 30 kills and Lucas Arcala 50 assists to lead VC to the wins.  Landon Tobias added 14 kills and Bryce Jones 9 kills.  VC opens Olympic League

Tuesday, May 9, 2017 7:00 PM Gahr – CIF 1st Round AWAY 0 Valley Christian/Cerritos HOME 3 Game Recap Boys volleyball sweeps Gahr 3-0 (25-13, 25-21, 25-22) and advances to the second round of CIF. Miller Davis led with 15 kills/10 digs, Kyle Anema added 12 kills/9 digs, and Max VandenBerg dished out 28 assists.
